
OUR STORY
Balanced Living Counseling was founded by two lifelong friends, Dania and Angelica, who have balanced the roles of being moms, wives, and counselors. Our journey together began in high school, and we continued to grow side by side, earning our master’s degrees in counseling from Texas Wesleyan University. Over the years, we gained diverse experience in various counseling settings before reuniting to work for the past six years at a Child Advocacy Center. There, we provided critical counseling services to children and their caregivers in Tarrant County who had experienced abuse and trauma, as well as supervised our own respective team of trauma therapists. ​
We are both bilingual (English and Spanish) and committed to creating an inclusive, culturally responsive space for healing. Our shared passion for trauma work, and counseling in general, led us to imagine and create Balanced Living Counseling, PLLC.
