Hi there, I’m Linzey, and I’m so glad you’re here!
A little bit about me, I’m a born-and-raised California girl who moved to Texas in January of 2020. Through my own life experiences, I know that reaching out for support can bring up all kinds of emotions—nerves, doubt, hope, and everything in between. I want to honor how meaningful and courageous it is to take this step—for yourself and for the people you care about. Whether that journey leads you to me or someone else, I truly hope you find the right fit to support your healing and your goals.
As a counselor, I believe that healing takes place through safe, connected interpersonal relationships—an understanding deeply supported by the principles of interpersonal neurobiology. My work is grounded in the belief that when we feel seen, supported, and genuinely connected, our brains and bodies are better able to heal and grow. I strive to create a therapeutic space that fosters trust, compassion, and meaningful connection so clients can feel safe exploring whatever brings them in.
I earned my M.Ed. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2023 and am currently pursuing a PhD in Counseling and Counselor Education at Texas Christian University. I work with children, teens, and adults, supporting clients through challenges such as trauma, sexual victimization and recovery, anxiety, relationship difficulties, and life transitions. My approach is informed by training in Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Play Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing, allowing me to meet clients where they are and support their growth and healing.
Whether you're navigating something new or carrying something heavy, I’m here to walk alongside you with honesty, empathy, and care.
